A small baggie with what local police are calling “a small amount of residue believed to be crystal meth” was found on the road that runs between the Castlegar Primary and Twin Rivers Elementary schools.

Sgt. Monty Taylor said the bag was found on June 25 and that the residue was too little to get a weight.

“The baggie, which more than likely was discarded/littered as it was empty (other than residue) was seized for proper disposal,” said Taylor.
